You are kindly invited to participate in an open-air theatrical spectacle in the form of a parade, which will take place through the streets of the Old Town on Saturday, September 9th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The parade route will run from Florian's Gate, through Floriańska Street, to the Town Hall in the Main Square.
The program includes improvisations in the ambience of 14th and 15th-century Krakow, artists in historical costumes from the era of Nicolaus Copernicus. The performance will involve approximately 150 performers - actors, dancers, musicians, stilt walkers, and extras, with the special participation of Compagnie Tac O Tac - French masters of stilt acrobatics.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the 550th anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus' birth and the inscription of the Old Town on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Stay with us for the weekend and expand your knowledge about the valuable monuments of Krakow and its traditions. Transport yourself back in time to the era of Nicolaus Copernicus.
